I believe that frosting should be delicious, and those with diabetes and/or a desire to cut back on refined sugar every now and then shouldn't have to suffer with nasty, and not always nutritious recipes. If you've been frustrated trying to find a delicious sugar free frosting that doesn't have a lot of potenitally dangerous chemicals in it, then this recipe might be for you. After reading a terrible gluten free vegan book with innaccurate recipes on soy-based sugar free frosting, (I will not say the name) I searched everywhere, and nourishingmeals.com gave me a recipe idea to my satisfaction. This recipe is soy free, gluten free, refined sugar free, and satisfying. Enjoy! Yahcna INGREDIENTS 2 cups non-hydrogenated Vegetable Shortening (or 1 cup of vegan butter and 1 cup of the shortening) 1 1/2 cup Agave Nectar or Maple Syrup 1 1/2 Tbsp.
