Hey guys! My mochi ice cream did not turn out as successful as I'd hoped. D: but I think I did pretty well. I followed the instructions on the box of the flour, but I think my microwave is too strong or something. -___- Recipe: 1 1/2 c. glutinous rice flour 1 c. hot water 1/3 c. sugar Ice cream balls (I used a cookie scooper for uniform sizes) Mix everything first 3 ingredients and microwave for 5 minutes with plastic wrap on top. This did not work very well for me, and the mochi became very hard. In the future, I would microwave for only 2 minutes and check on it, then add an extra minute if it needs to cook longer. Dump some flour on a cutting board, push it around, and then plop the hot mochi on top. Massage the mochi with tapioca, and flatten it the best you can. Then cut pieces to wrap around the ice cream, wrap with plastic wrap, and run it to the fridge. Good luck! ~
